Why Tonic?
“Tonic” is a word rooted in both medicine and music, and we embrace both meanings.
In medicine
Tonic effects are restorative. They awaken the mind, bring the body into balance, and restore clarity. That’s how we approach post-production: we find the rhythm, enhance the emotion, and remove what distracts.
In music
The tonic is the home note, the anchor of every scale. Everything else finds direction from it. We set that tone. We shape what the audience feels and how the story resonates.
Tonic Effects isn’t just about effects. We sharpen meaning, design rhythm, and create moments that stay with people.

Who are you?
We’re a boutique post-production studio based in Istanbul. We cut, colour, shape, and finish stories, with rhythm and care.
What do you do?
We focus on commercials and branded content. We bring editing, colour, VFX, and sound together under one roof. Not just to fix things, but to reveal the emotion underneath.
What makes you different?
We don’t scale. We commit. Every project we take on becomes our responsibility, end to end. We look closely, ask the right questions, and apply the solution that fits, with precision and care.
